When will it get better?

Pamala... Thanks for posting the stages of the quit. It helps when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some days of a quit are simply easier than others. On those bad days just hang on and remember that even when we smoked, we had bad days. Smoking doesn't ever make anything better. Keeping your quit will change your world. Keep fighting... it is worth the battle :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 279 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,589 Amount Saved: $976.5 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 15 Mins: 5 Seconds: 44

Hi, Struggling. Day 3 was by far the hardest one for me, too. Felt like I'd been fighting for months instead of just a few days. Just hang on and ride this out. It does get better. I think the worst part of it all is the uncertainty. Right now you probably feel like it has lasted for an eternity and like it will continue for another eternity. It does not! And I'm guessing the end of the worst part is close at hand. Tommorrow, maybe. Follow Lady's advice. She didn't make the Hall of Fame for nothin'. :) You'll be glad you did.
