I feel much saddness for Bubba's death. I was here with him on my 3 year quit. He always said the right thing. Always had the right answer. We all looked up to him. He was a great man and I hope he is at peace, at least he and his wife are together again. He was a wonderful friend who I'll miss terribly. Bubba, the "Grandfather" of this site, here from almost it's beginning. He has not only been an awesome inspiration to so many of us, but he also has touched the lives of us all in some way or another. It takes an extraordinary person to be able to do that. It is so hard to believe. I am so sorry to see you gone Bubba. You have saved my life by helping me quit smoking. You will be missed terribly on this site especially. Thanks for letting us know Katy. I know No-smoking Teresa will be sorry to hear this news. Bubba was the oldest member I've seen here. He didn't always post to threads but when he did he spoke loudly. He would fuss if someone posted for help and others didn't jump in to help them quickly enough. He was always straight forward and direct with people. You knew he was serious about getting quit and staying that way. His presence will be missed here. He was a great man here.
