What if you live?

15 років тому 0 579 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
When I was a smoker, I was forever worrying about dying from cancer.  My grandparents died from smoking related lung cancer in their 70s, so I knew that cancer was probably in my genes somewhere.  And I may not make it as far as 70.

What I did not consider, is "what would happen if I lived"?  I say this because a friend's mother has COPD - she can't walk up and down stairs, she is on permanent oxygen, she can't live independently anymore.  She did manage to quit a few years ago, but she was already quite ill.

Smoking can severely affect quality of life as well as quality.  Quit while you are ahead!

But you knew that already.
