I have won another day

Spent most of the day working outside raking and gathering leaves. Still more to fall. It was great to work outside and breathe fresh air and not coughing my head off. Yes I WON today

I haven't won it yet, but I plan to. Won a tough day yesterday (first weekends are always hard for me), so I expect another one in the win column today. Craves are a little stronger than usual, but the idea of re-introducing that nasty drug into my system is anathema.

I think all I have to do is make it through the twilight (aka, cocktail hour), and when darkness falls, the resolve to stay smoke-free returns even stronger than ever.

A HUGE thanks to all you faithful vets who keep encouraging us newbies. I think I'll reward myself for making it through the first weekend with a nice Chinese meal that I don't have to cook or clean up after. Safer to have it delivered, but it's so much better and hotter in the restaurant. (And you get that great tea.) The risk is driving past the convenience store. Ah, decisions, decisions.
