You are doing great, Red!!! I understand---I think this sixth week has been as hard as the first, I have had more temptations and cravings this week than ever, but I am staying strong, or at least not smoking. I am here for you, Red!!! Keep on truckin!!!
Today has been a really tough day..I said earlier today that I would not smoke today and I have done that today, no matter how mad, upset, disappointed or what ever I have gotton today...

Repeating this phrase several times a day every day has helped me to stay quit for 48 days now..so here I go again.
Ah, yes! It's another good day to take a pledge. I will not smoke today.
Funny. I was scared to take this pledge for a a few weeks after I quit, since I didn't want to mess up. At this point, I'm feeling much more confident in my ability to follow through. Yesterday was the lowest crave day I think I've had so far. I didn't even think about cigarettes until 8 PM, and that thought was simply about how much damage they do.
So I'm feeling pretty good about my pledge today. Here's to everyone being able to follow through today.
