I will be praying for you too :) I know when the time comes, you will have peace. I've found that God's Grace comes upon you when you need it (not before or after, right when you need it). So, I know you'll be fine :) I'm praying for your sister's surgery next week as well. I know you'll both be looking forward to the holidays after surgery, so that will be something great to look forward to :)
Hi Bren: Perfectly normal to think about this surgery seriously and to feel a bit anxious. I visualized myself going to the hospital and getting it "over" with. I thought about how I would reward myself when I got back. What do you have lined up as your reward? Can you distract yourself with some cooking? That is, prepare and freeze some dinners or desserts so you can relax a bit when you get home. I had a friend who bought herself some new sheets and pretty nightie so that when she got home, she would feel pampered a bit. How about a lovely bouquet of flowers waiting for you? Just some ideas....
