Ginette you are doing great. Yes these first few days and weeks are hard, but so worth it. We fight so hard for our quits and the rewards are great. I am so proud of you!! Ginette, Take a lot of deep breaths and get through five minutes at a time. You are in the middle of Hell week and they don't call it Hell week for nothing. Be sure to drink plenty of ice water. I'm not sure why, but it seems to help the craving as well. I don't envy you being in that first week but know that you can make it through. So many have gone before you. Read all you can and post all you need to. There are many around here to help you through these tough days. I know it is hard to believe now but you will be so glad you hung on. Each moment you make it through makes you that much stronger for the next. Don't give up no matter what! Hang tough, Ginette - you can do this. Fight it hour by hour. Fight it 10 minutes by 10 minutes if you have to.
