Ringing

What you are describing sounds like Tinnitus, not to say that you have it. I would suggest seeing a doctor to rule it out.
Tinnitus is the ringing, buzzing, or hissing sound heard inside one or both ears. Tinnitus is a result of the brain attempting to "rewire" itself when the ear has become damaged, resulting in a ringing noise. Sufferers of tinnitus can experience a wide range of noise creating a minor annoyance to debilitating pain depending on its severity.
My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 38 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,154 Amount Saved: $152 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 5 Mins: 43 Seconds: 19

I never had ringing in my ears. I had blurry vision, dizzy spells, ALOT of anxiety. I would ask a DR. Congratulation on 48 hours without one puff of poisonous smoke entering your lungs! You have not smoked 51 cigs! be proud! Take a deep breath, relax, if it keeps it up see a doctor. I didn't have ears ringing, but I was dizzy, I had hot flashes, I had vision problems. My doctor told me my body was undergoing a pretty large change trying to deal without nicotine. I bet it clears up fast enough. Good on ya for quitting - YOU CAN DO THIS! Butt, everyone's body will react differently to the quit. This possibly could be normal. If it continues, please see your doctor to rule out anything medical. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
