perth, Rewards come in all forms. Make a list of rewards that you would like or love and choose from it when a reward is called for. Expensive or cheap, a reward is always a great way to validate you being active in your progress :) Try: Spa treatments Buy something for you Your favorite movie Your favorite food Bath salts Specialty coffee (go out and get it) Join a club Join a team Read a book Buy a fun magazine Dance for fun Write a letter Any goes and the sky's the limit :) Josie, Support Specialist

Hi, Again, I got a question on the DC program. Beginning session 7 we are encouraged to be active and then to reward ourselves: "No matter what happens, whether you succeed or fail, reward yourself! Don’t reward yourself for succeeding or failing, reward yourself because you took an active role, made a choice and moved toward a possible solution." ...do you have any suggestions what people could do here? A big reward or a smaller one? What can be appropriate here? I guess, this is also a typical depression-problem to find something to reward himself/herself. What could I do here? Anybody any idea? thanks very much! perth
