R4,

Welcome to our support community.  You will soon see how amazing this community is.  These members are supportive, knowledgeable and kind.  Sharing your experiences, support and knowledge is a great way to progress and we recommend you post with us often.

It is a great pleasure to see you working through the sessions one by one!  The session, homework and journaling are all a part of the process so please continue to work through and ask questions.

We welcome you to our community!

As a quick side note, just before starting my session 1 and signing up for this program I had one of my negative spirals.  It was triggered by something my partner had said to me.  My reaction in my head to this was negative thinking and then the positive side of my brain said 'that's enough!' and here I am.  The comment made by my partner shouldn't have generated the negative thought by any means, it feels like I am battling some head games which lead to anger, frustration and being down / sad / crying.  I can't continue down that road any longer.

Hi There, new to this website and writing this post to introduce myself.  Started the first session of the course and found myself connecting to a lot of what was said.  The reasons for depression, more specifically stress, grief and relationship.  The negative spiral of thinking has become increasingly obvious in my life and it's really starting to effect me in my personal life and sometime at work.  I specifically suffer from a racing heart when I feel things are going wrong, which in turn feeds the spiral of negative thoughts.
As I start session 2 I hope to keep track of moods and what was going on at that time.
I am also hoping through all the experiences and knowledge on this blog I can hopefully contribute to this community.
:-)
