The stupiest think you have done?

I am so looking forward to be a non-smoker and don't have to deal with the cravings any more. I came to remember the stupiest thing I have done to get get a cigarette and I thought I should share it with you and it could be fun to read about yours;p I had spent about 10 hours on a flight back from Europe (to USA.) We had a stopover in one of the aiports in USA to let new people on and had the plane to be cleaned before we continued. We were asked to leave the plane but only to go to the gate and wait for about 30 minutes. I figured I should try to find a place to smoke, but of course there were no smoking room in the airport. My cravings for cigarette were so strong, and the only thing I could think about was to be able to smoke. I decided to enter the custom area and sneak out the doors. I did - and "enjoyed" smoking outside for a couple of minutes. When I returned inside, I realized that I only had the "stub" with my seat number and flight number. (I knew this before I left the building, but my mind didn't care about it as long as I was able to get a cig) To make a long story short; I had a lot of problems to explain for the airport employees what I had done and to convinced them that they should let me back in. Finally they did, and I ran to my gate. All the people had boarded, except for my husband who nervously waited for me. When he realized the reason for I was late he didn't talk with me for the rest of the trip.... I am so glad that I don't have to deal with this on the next trip :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 236 Amount Saved: $67.5 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 20 Mins: 2 Seconds: 51

OMG. :( this is hard to admit. I was very young when I started smoking, I use to steal my moms smokes until she hid them. I wanted one so bad!! :( I took the ash trays and emptied the cigarette butts of the tobacco that was in them into a piece of notebook paper, rolled it up and tried to smoke it. I should have known then I had a problem lol My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/31/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 70 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,258 Amount Saved: $350 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 11 Mins: 22 Seconds: 29
