To all my friends here at SSC I will be away for a few days because ((drum roll))) my son is coming into this world in the morning!! Because of all of you and your wonderful posts and support I have almost reached my primary goal of being smoke-free when I cut my sons umbilical cord! I never thought that I would make it this far but the fact that I did is a testament to the power of this site and all of the awesome quitters that are the life force behind it. Oh Newpapa.....I'm sooooo excited for you and your your new bundle of joy. Keep your quit...it's the best birthday gift you could ever give your child. So many children develop Asthma from second hand smoke and other illnesses (ear infections, sinus infections). By not smoking, you have already made your child's environment so much better.
