made it through the first day smoke free!!! had to quit the nicorette gum as it is giving me mouth sores from chewing it. so now i am chewing regular gum and getting a lot of support from my family. my daughter emails throughout the day, calls, and sends e-cards for encouragement. it sure does help. got a very bad headache and sweaty hands. did a lot of coughing throughout the night. just going to plan on getting through today and will worry about getting through tomorrow, tomorrow. one day at a time. thanks for all the posts!!! sure helps! wish me luck for today. bye for now.
