I felt a bit edgy for a day or two after discontinuing the Chantix, but ist was not anything out of the ordinary or life-altering. If it keeps up, call your Dr.! I don't see any stats posted, but aren't you proud that you have quit? Keep it up!

Did you follow the full course of treatment as prescribed?
In any case, this is an abnormal response to stepping off Chantix. Chantix helps to stimulate the release of chemicals in your brain that are responsible for feelings of pleasure and happiness just like nicotine used to. Take the Chantix away and your mood may temporarily fall flat. It is temporary so hang in there and in the meantime try to engage in pleasurable activities. This will help boost your mood.

Stopped taking Chantix 2 days ago and wow am I bummed out.
Seriously, very down and for absolutely no reason at all.
I could cry at the drop of a dime. I am not normally an emotional person. Did anyone else experience this and if so how long does it last?
