Thankyou my friends for all your positive support.

I was really thrown for a loop when I heard the news. The grapevine says he's hopeful he can beat whatever it is he has and that he's going to try to quit smoking this coming weekend. I hope he finds this site or somewhere that he can get the kind of support you've all given me. Your pledges, posts and prayers are helping me get through a very tough week.

Todash, Kelly, Henny, Reggie and Laurie...thank you all so much for your promises and good wishes.

Sparky, I'm so proud to see you're back on your quit. You have the heart and the bravery of a lion. I'm so glad you beat the fight with the nasty, nasty cancer...you will beat the nicodemon this time my friend. I'm hanging on with all my might, it's just so eerie to have to hear the word again so soon.

Msreader1, Stickin, Jose, Pupikat, Kasi and Jazz I really do appreciate your pledges and your kind posts.

Patrick I'm so happy you've changed your life and kept friends and family through all your trials. You should write a book! My children's father is a very decent man and in my opinion a pleasant drunk who's lived in denial far too long. I hope he can snatch his life back from his addictions and live a healthy, full, joyous, and long life.

I'll try to keep you posted as I learn more. Your support means more to me than you can know.

I drank myself out of relationships and damn near out of family but I haven't had an obnoxious "drunk" for 15 years now and I still have a few friends and family. I hope he wants to clean himself up - for your children's sake.....

First of all Pat (((HUGS))), you have been though so much this past year. I understand hearing the word cancer and the terror it can bring. I know about 11 years ago when the told me I had cancer I just about lost it. For me it was caught early and they were able to remove it all. Nasty, nasty word cancer is, but there are so many wonderful treatments out there. I will certainly pray for you and yours. Hang tight you will get though this also. You have the strength of a mighty warrior.
