Yes staying away does have results. True story...My best little bud was a (handicapped) toy named Gabriella (we called Gabby for short, as she could fit in the palm of your hand). Gabby used to like to burrow deep under the covers to sleep at night. One night after I had a particularly large dose of MM'S toot paste Gabby came flying out from under the covers grasping for air! I never heard her make that same sound again before or after that night. You know Gabby never went back under the covers to sleep again!

On a serious note - Stickin I know what you mean. I had one tooth that was stained more than the others because it was where the butt of my cigarette hit. I'm proud to say that it's almost the same color as the other now!!

Yes I do have periodontal problems (disease) caused by 4 decades of smoking. Although the teeth have turned whiter now! They look almost good with just a soft touch of the whitening toot paste, Crest.
