Yup, me too.  Not quite there yet, but getting there, step by step.

Sticking to it,

I used to believe that there was a difference between people that liked to smoke and those that smoked because of the addiction.  I used to be like, I am the type of person who actually just likes to smoke.... I now realize it was the nicodemon holding me captive.  Thank you for pointing this out.

Your post makes me look forward to the future:  a time when I enjoy being a non-smoker, a time I have a feeling of goodness, and when I have freedom.  Glad to know that day will come.

Cheers,
Alice

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

14 років тому 0 1985 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0

I know, I know a lot of x smokers and I haven’t heard any of them speak of the desire to light up.  So there must be a sense or recognition of an end to the desire to smoke, and there is.  I believed I liked to smoke but that was not me doing the thinking.  It was he, nicodemon.

Everyday, week and month you put behind you, you become stronger and stronger and destined to, to live smoke free forever.  You’ve kicked the habit.

Now what?   Do I let something troubling me get me started up again?  Well that would just pull me back under, not be a remedy and provide an avenue of trouble for me now and more trouble for me in the future.  I would gain nothing for the long run.

I feel no loss.  I like where I am.  I like not smoking; it is a feeling of goodness, something I need not worry about again.  It is freedom.

When you have a good thing don’t trade it in for anything less, and when you have it all you’ve got the best.
