What made you "know" you were going to smoke that night? What triggered you in the program and how can you counter that trigger? Quitting smoking takes a lot of internal work - we can help you work at it. Just keep posting.
I have read posts to the various topics for over a month. I reduced my smoking over that month and finally had my last cig 3 days ago so I am now 2 days quit. What draws me to this site is the non judgemental comments. Basically only support. This is what kept me moving toward my goal. One day at a time.

Firstly, it is sad but there is nowhere near as much support on this forum as there used to be!!!
Secondly, did you?
Just know that if you want to quit you can but you must want to quit MORE than you want to smoke. Until that condition is met it will prove very difficult to succeed BUT IT CAN BE DONE!!
I had originally planned to quit today but I know that I am going to slip up tonight. I know I should be stronger but having gone through this program today it has made me want to smoke even more!
So tomorrow is now my quit day and I really want to do this but I know that I will struggle but my little boy is the one that loses out on play time and me time so this is for him.
Hopefully there is lots of lovely support on this forum.
