Yeah i agree with Casey, if you have any doubts ask your doctor or your pharmacist. I find pharmacists to be a great sources of information. I often call my pharmacist when curious about a certain form of medication and he is always very helpful. I personnally don't have experience with that particular medication but I am sure your pharmacist has many things he can tell you about it :)

Hi Mary,
Fellow members will be responding shortly. As you mentioned this medication can be used for a variety of medical conditions. Be sure to consult with your doctor or pharmacist for further information.

I came back from my doctor's appointment and she suggested to try propranolol hydorchloride, only 10 mg. Now, I'm not sure if there is any links to this on this sight, if anyone has tried this, what their outcome was, but, I do need something for my nerves, and she said this should be helpful, (also used for high blood pressure). Does anyone had any experience with this? Thanks.
Hiya Mary, I agree with Danielle, if you are curious what your medication options are just feel free to ask your doctors. I am sure she will be glad to explain what she knows to you. some docotrs tend to prescribe off the bat and others tend to wait to be asked and there is no harm in you asking. The more you know the better a decision you can make about how you want to take care of yourself. And the beauty of it is you can ask about meds and still decide not to take them if you don't want to. But information is always a good tool to have! Anyway, keep us posted!

Mary,
If you'd like to know more about medications available to treat anxiety and panic do bring it up at your next doctor's visit and don't be afraid to ask lots of questions about it.

I have spoken to my doctor about my panic and anxiety problems, she has always given me titles of books to read, which have helped, "Mind Over Mood", but do you ask to be on meds to get you through this period or how do you go about doing this? Just wondering, she seems reluctant to suggest that.
